Turri’s novelties Design by Andrea Bonini for Turri

Among the many new products launched by Turri in 2021, the Blossom upholstered furniture and Vision coffee tables stand out for their extraordinary versatility. In a vast catalogue of furniture proposals strongly characterized and conceived to design a complete “Turri home”, stylistically coherent, these new elements can easily be combined with other collections, to increase compositional freedom and possibility of customization. Launched in 2020, Turri’s Zenit collection is now expanding with the introduction of a new element for the dining area, the careful balance in the overlapping of tops is the protagonist in the new TV cabinet, perfectly coordinated with the well-known sideboard. The storage unit thus enriches and completes a dining collection with a strong identity. Soft and sinuous lines design the new Blossom sofa and armchair. Their structure is defined by parabolic arches, which, by touching with each other, create “delicate” corners embellished and highlighted by metal details. The technical accuracy of Andrea Bonini’s project does not overpower the sweetness of inspiration and perfectly encounters the harmony and softness of the shapes from which the name Blossom derives. The original design of the armchair and sofa – available in two or three seater version – evokes natural silhouettes, profiles that delicately match. The completely padded structure is solid and firm like the chalice of an accommodating flower that surrounded by its’ petals. Also by Andrea Bonini, Vision coffee tables well express that sense of lightness and suspension that has defined the style of Turri’s most recent collections. Here the thin wooden feet, with marble applications and metal terminals prop up the structure, which supports and frames the transparent or bronzed glass top. This structure, plays on a clever interweaving of solids and voids created by lines that wind and intersect with each other. It can be admired through the transparency of the top, thus becoming the protagonist element of the design.
