All employees received branded water bottles in partnership with Ocean Bottle, an initiative that plays a key role in reducing the use of plastic in our offices and its impact on the environment. For each Ocean Bottle, we prevent 11.4 kilograms of plastic from ending up in the ocean, equivalent to 1,000 single-use plastic bottles, collected from coastal communities most affected by plastic pollution. With every bottle sold, Ocean Bottle funds the collection of 25,000 pounds of ocean plastic (the weight equivalent of 1,000 plastic bottles). They work with three Plastic Collection partners to collect plastic on a global scale, in areas where plastic pollution is worst. They collect all types of plastic and ensure it is recovered and reprocessed in the most efficient and socially beneficial way possible. Plastic collectors can exchange waste for cash or credits, which they can use for healthcare, education, financial security, and mental health support. Through this partnership, we will continue to advance initiatives that reduce our environmental impact while embracing innovation and social responsibility.
